I do not hear the sound at idle. I have listened with my mechanics stethoscope and I can hear the ticking coming from the valve cover over cylinders 1-3. For me the process of adjusting the valves on my car is new and I had a hard time finding the right numbers for intake and exhaust valves. For those of you who are missing the sticker under the hood and have J35Z1 engine (I’m not sure about the other engines) here are the numbers: Intake: 0.22 mm +- 0.02 mm. Exhaust: 0.30 mm +- 0.02 …I recommend some silicone grease (like Sil-Glyde or 3M silicone Paste) to help them into place. PS: Set your exhaust valves on the looser of the two settings. These Honda V6's usually wear the exhaust valveseats over time which makes the clearance get tighter as time goes by. The last thing you want is to burn a valve.
