CZC has set up two Shadow 1's with the multi-optic plates for me (both have SRO's mounted) and just recently did a direct mill on a Shadow 2 for another SRO and milled the slide to make CO weight for IDPA. I have had milled slides and they fit better but if you cross thread or sheer a screw off you might need a whole new slide. I went with cz plate system in my shadow 2 but there is an ugly gap.
