The gas system is better in the 1301. I think better than the Benelli M4. The a300 may also have a better gas system than the 940. I love the a300 personally and I'm a Mossberg guy. The first time, the extractor pulled the brass head off the hull and left the hull in the chamber. I had to stick a rod down the barrel to push the hull out.
