Hello everyone, I live in the west chicagoland area and I have been looking for a large enclosure (bigger than the 48" x 13" x 18" 55 gallon I have right...Messages. 1,055. My "hide" doubles as a hide as well as a feeding/basking platform... I put a lip on the end of the enclosure and cut a piece of plywood to rest on top fo that lip. The plywood rests about 3" above the mulch (when leveled). Then my Tegu pushes mulch around to create a borrow under the plywood.So, I'm thinking I want to either buy or build a waterfall/fountain for the enclosure I have for my tegu. Now, I'm wondering if any of those yard-fountains or anything like that are safe? I've seen some that look really neat, but I don't know if they're safe for my tegu.
